When to choose air freight
Air is the fastest way to move cargo between continents. It suits urgent spare parts, pharmaceutical and medical goods, electronics, samples and high-value cargo — and any case where a stopped production line costs more than the freight.
What's included
- Collection from your warehouse and delivery to the airport
- Space booking with airlines (direct and connecting flights)
- Air waybill (AWB), commercial invoice and packing list
- Export and import customs clearance
- Dangerous goods (DGR) declarations and label checks
- Delivery to the consignee's door with status updates
Express vs standard air freight
Express (24–72 h) uses the first available flight with priority handling. Standard air freight (3–7 days) costs less and suits planned deliveries. If your deadline allows, we'll compare sea and road options too.
How the price is calculated
Air freight is charged on the greater of actual and volumetric weight (1 m³ = 167 kg), plus route, season and extras such as customs or temperature control. Include dimensions and weight in your enquiry for an exact price.
Frequently asked questions
How long does air freight take?

Can dangerous goods go by air?
Many dangerous goods can fly under IATA DGR rules. We check the safety data sheet, packaging and labels before booking.
Is there a minimum shipment size?
